Our Story

The idea for Beer City Bread Co. was created through a labor of love. Growing up around restaurants and working together in a bakery, The Fahlen Brothers are no strangers to hard work. One night, after a long day of work they created the first version of Beer City Bread by way of trial and error. Their commitment to creating artisan bread led to many more nights like this one. The result- the amazing bread now available to you in local Meijer stores.

Through connecting with the brewers at Perrin Brewing Company, we launched the idea with a local collaborative product in mind. Given that we were born and raised in West Michigan, keeping the partnership local was a key mission of the company. Taking that aspect into consideration, the Meijer stores became the platform to provide this local product to our neighbors in West Michigan.
